Who is really in control when it comes to those tempting little snacks we crave so much – you or the sweet treat? Accept how much power the mouth watering treat has over you and you will be more likely to stick to your diet. Researched has shown that people often overstimate their ability to fight temptation, so they do not take reasonable steps to avoid it, then end up succumbing, most often in the worst of ways – binging! The best advice we can realistically give is to be aware of your weakness and take steps to avoid succumbing to your favorite treats – like not buying them at all!
