The low carb group experienced 15% weight loss after the six weeks compared to only 5% in the high carb/low fat group. More important, those in the low carb group had far less hunger pangs than those in the other group. So the conclusion is that current popularity and scientific results show that lower carb diets work and help you lose more fat and do it with less hunger!

In addition, a component of the white tea apparently even caused a drop in the body’s expression of a gene linked with proliferation and/or growth of new adipocytes (fat cells), which in turn caused existing fat cells to dissolve the fat they were harboring.

White tea may hold promise in terms of weight loss, although more studies are needed to be sure of this.
