Mission NOT Impossible – Log 52
Day 119, March 11, 2012
Ok I completely spaced the time change so I slept until 11:00 again this morning. I have to make something to eat and then we are going to go for a bike ride in a little bit.
11:10 am: 1/2 cup of oatmeal with splenda and 1/2 banana. I grabbed my 3 TBR Labs Colostrum, 3 SlimQuick Extreme and 1 L-Carnitine, drank a glass of water with it and now I’m going to sit on the porch swing and drink my coffee.
2:45 pm: It’s time for something to eat. I am still having trouble eating what I’m suppose to. I’m not hungry. I do realize that’s awesome but I hate figuring out what to eat. I love the shakes because they are so easy and filling. I’m going to eat chicken salad with green peppers, onions, mustard, celery, and 1 T of olive oil May. I just eat it with a spoon and the celery gives it the crunch of crackers. It’s really good alternative to baking chicken. I’m on my 5 glass of water and I’m taking my 1 L-Carnitine. Now it’s time to get ready for my bike ride.
OMG! Let me tell you how this whole bike ride escapade went. First of all Greg ran right into Cody as soon as we left the house. Greg was trying to switch his gears and Cody was taking the price tag off of his bike when BOOM, Cody flipped over his bike. Well that in itself scared me. I kept thinking I don’t want to wreck. I am a baby that way! I looked at several bikes last night and let me just say I bought the WRONG one. I should have gotton the size GIANT seated bike. But ohhhhh nooooo! My kids told me that I would get made fun of. So let me recap my bike experience this afternoon. I got on it and immediately felt like I had a thong up my butt. Why on earth do they have bike seats that are so small? I am going to be the first one to say that fat butt + bike does not = a good time. I mean I never want to get on the stinking little thing again. I mean wow! Another thing, my hubby and son were just peddling away and I was like huffing and puffing like I was dying. It was humiliating! I kept saying, bike rides are not for this fat girl! Now let me tell you what I am going to do: I AM going to get right back on that little thong-feeling seat and keep going. It used to be cake when I was young to just get on a bike and pedal for hours. I only made it about 2 minutes before it started getting to me. And that is because I need to step up on the excercise. I will win over this stupid bike. The old addage of pick yourself up and get right back on the bike(I think it was horse) and keep moving on is right on. If we keep trying then we aren’t losers. We become WINNERS every time we get back on that bike so to speak. Now I’m going to go and get my pillow and sit on it for a while.
6:00 pm: Greg decided to grill tonight. I am loving this weather. I, for one, have loads more energy. Greg made salad, and steak with baked potatoes. I ate my portion and then drank my water with my 1 L-Carnitine. Now it’s time for me to plan what I’m going to clean tomorrow and then hopefully get a walk in. I love to walk. It’s looking like rain until about 3 or 4 tomorrow afternoon. I’m off to take a shower and then it’s time for us to chillax in the living room.
8:00 pm: I’m having my last meal for the day, Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly with my 3 Colostrum by TBR Labs, and 1 L-Carnitine. Harry’s Law is on and I love that show. She’s a handful just like me. LOL! I hope you all have a great night and sweet dreams…
Day 118, March 10, 2012
Well I guess my busy week has caught up with me. I’ve been having some trouble sleeping at night, some people say it’s because of the full moon. I’m not sure but I wish it would go away. I glanced over at the clock today and guess what I saw? It was 11:14 am. Greg said he thought I needed the rest. For whatever reason I do sleep better during the day. Who knows why! I slept right through breakfast so I’m going to go straight to lunch.
11:45 am: I’m late getting my supplements in but better late than never, or so the saying goes. I put all of my supplements into one place and then I don’t have to try to find it all. It’s in one of those pill cases you buy at CVS. It works wonders. I was forgetting to take them and now I just reach for my case and there they are. I took my 3 Colostrum by Total Body Research Labs, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, and 1 L-Carnitine. I’m on my first glass of water. Crazy, yesterday I said I would try to drink more water and now look at me, I have slept the whole day away.
4:00 pm: We were all sitting around talking about renting a house in Michigan in June (another reason for me to lose this weigh), and I told my hubby I wanted a new bike. He loves to ride on the trails and there are a bunch of them in Michigan so I guess we are off to buy a bike. I ate a piece of baked chicken and my L-Carnitine and I’ll eat more soon.
8:00 pm: Well we found my bike. We ended up buying Cody, Breanna, and me a new bike. I’m so psyched to ride it. I haven’t been on a bike in years. The last time I rode a bike consistently was when I had my daughter and that was over 13 years ago. This should be fun. I never did eat anything else so I’m going to drink a Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly International. It’s also time for me to take my 3 Total Body Research Labs Colostrum, and my 1 L-Carnitine. I’ve drank about 60 ounces of water today so I need to start drinking more. I’m excited about going on my first bike ride in over a decade! Yay! I hope you all have a great night and sweet dreams…
Day 117, March 9, 2012
Here we go again! It’s time for me to get going again. I have been having trouble sleeping so I’m a little on the grumpy side but I will work through it. This morning is going to be a coffee morning. I’m pretty tired. I know, I know I would eat some cheese with this whine if I was allowed to have it. LOL! On with my day I’m running a little behind.
7:45 am: Cup of coffee with splenda a 1 T of Dairyfree creamer. 1.5 scoops of Chocolate UMP protein shake with 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 3 TBR Labs Colostrum, and 1 L-Carnitine. I am taking my water with me.
Well Dad got a big old spanking, not in a good way, by the doctor today. He has gained 7 pounds. On the bright side he said with my Dad’s health problems it’s still better than just giving up. It’s going to be hard for him to lose because of his insulin resistent diabetes. Everyone say a prayer for him that he will succeed. His life depends on it.
We opted for eating at Subway. It’s not terribly expensive and it’s healthier. I got a grilled chicken salad with cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, onions, lettuce (of course), and black olives. I took light balsamic vineagreatte dressing with me. LOL! Yes, people do look at you funny when you pull that out of your bag, but who cares! I took my L-Carnitine and I drank water. We have to go to the Amish store and then it’s time to go and work on Dad’s taxes. Oh goody!
6:00 pm: I’m late getting home and I have to figure out what to make for dinner. It’s looking like baked chicken and frozen broccoli. I need to pick some more fresh up. I’m almost halfway finished with my water. I need to make more of a concentrated effort to drink my water when I’m out and about. Dinner’s done and now I have to take my 1 L-Carnitine with my water and it’s time to sit and veg. We have a movie to watch tonight.
Okay, the movie Greg brought home the new movie, Footloose. I will be totally honest and I am NOT a fan of the movie. The original movie was a long better. They sleezed some of the cast but I guess this is one instance where sex didn’t sell!
9:00 pm: Time for my last meal. I’m going to have 1.5 scoops of Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly with 3 Colostrum, and 1 L-Carnitine. I didn’t quite make it to a gallon today but I will strive to do it tomorrow. I hope all of you have a good night and sweet dreams…
Day 116, March 8, 2012
Today I get to go to the doctor. I’m not looking forward to getting on the scale even though I have lost weight. You show me a person that LOVES to get weighed and you will see a crazy person. I’d better get going because our appointments are at 9:20 am in Madison.
7:30 am: 1/2 cup oatmeal with splenda and a banana. I’m drinking my first glass of water so I can take my 3 Colostrum by TBR Labs, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, and 1 L-Carnitine. I’m curious to see what my blood pressure is while I’m on my SQ Extremes.
11:30 am: I’m on my way home from the doctor. My blood pressure was perfect. 120/78. I opted to wait to eat until I get home because I hate to spend the money and because there aren’t very many places to eat that are affordable and have healthy food. I’m having chicken salad with celery with my water and 1 L-Carnitine.
I have to go to Cody’s talent show at the Damm theatre tonight. I still have anxiety about going to places with a lot of people. I cannot wait until I lose the rest of this weight. I know most of it is in my head but I always feel like people are judging me for being overweight.
I’m pretty excited about watching Cody’s band, 4th & Forever play tonight. They are playing two sets and they are going to rock! So excited.
3:30 pm: Baked chicken breast with steamed asparagus and broccoli with water and 1 L-Carnitine.
7:00 pm: Ok we are at the talent show and Greg and Dylan are having Popcorn and I am so happy to say I didn’t have anything while I was there. I have to give kudos to all the kids from JCD that participated in the talent show. It was a very entertaining night. It was great to hear my son’s band. I was so proud of them.
After it was all said and done I am so happy to say that I was that MOM! Oh yeah, that’s right! I was totally her. So exciting! I loved it! It’s been a while since I’ve been in that position. I had so many people come up to me and tell me how great Cody was. I know I was so proud I’m really very surprised that my head even fit through the doors of the theatre. It is an amazing feeling! I know what you must be thinking, ‘Wow she has so made this about her!’ And you are right I did! It was so cool!
9:00 pm: 1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream UMP protein shake with 3 Total Body Research Labs Colostrum and 1 L-Carnitine with my water. Now it’s time for me to settle down before I go to bed because I have to be out the door tomorrow morning at the same time. Dad has another doctor appt. in Madison. I hate having to run out the door as soon as I get up but what can I do?
I’m so glad I went to the talent show tonight. I stepped out of my comfort zone and it was great. Sometimes when we step out of our comfort zones it’s not a good thing. I have been doing that since beginning this journey to a new me. I recommend all of you try to step out of your comfort zone and make your life more fulfilling. It’s been a really positive thing for me. I hope you all have a great night and sweet dreams…
