Day 72, January 25, 2012

Good morning everyone!   I am soooo excited.  I get to spend time with my Dad.  We are going shopping.  Both of us need to get out.  I’m definately needing the change of scenery.  I’m thinking I’m going to take a break from trying to keep up with this messy house.  I’m going to have a me day!  This is my third and final day of my 3 Day Fruit Detox.  It’s help kickstart me to losing weight again.  It’s difficult to get used to but it does work.  Any of you out there that are trying to kickstart your weight loss should try the 3 day fruit detox for 4 weeks.  Remember it really works.  I am proof positive of that!

8:00 am:    This morning I am going to have a banana.  I’m also taking my 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 3 TBR Labs Colostrum, and 1 L-Carnitine.    I am going to accomplish drinking my gallon of water today.  Go Me!

10:00 am:  It’s time for my pear.  It seems to fill me up better so that is a good choice for me.  I’m on my third bottle of water so still going strong.  More later!

12:00 pm:  I’m having my apple now.  I’m going strong drinking my water again today.

2:00 pm:  Banana time.  I’m taking my 1 L-Carnitine.   I’m past a 1/2 gallon of water now.  I have to go so I can go to the store with Dad.  We haven’t had any “us” time for over a month now.  This is long overdue!

4:00 pm:  Last fruit until my dinner.  I’m going to have a banana on the go.  It’s easy and filling.  Dylan decided to go with us to the Amish Store. I’m pretty excited.  Mom said she could really tell that I’ve lost weight.  Finally!  It’s driving me crazy that no one is saying anything.  I can’t decide if it’s because the woman want to be catty or I’m just unnoticeable!  No wait, that is definately not it!  There is  no way I’m not noticed.  I not only have a big booty, I also have a big personality!  I guess to be fair most of my friends tell me that they just see me and they don’t see a “fat person”.    Who knows.  I guess that is how you tell who your true friends are.  They see what is inside and not the outer package.  I guess that is something to think about…

6:00 pm:  I am having  5 oz of chicken cut up and mixed in with garlic powder.  For my veggies I’m having grape tomatoes with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, celery and  green peppers, and the juice of 1/2 lemon.  My husband bought another  bag so now I’m going to put the lemon in my water.  Yum!  It’s a nice change of pace.

6:30 pm:  Ok, it’s workout time.  Down the stairs I go to excercise.  I have to do better at running than yesterday.  I ran/walked it in 18:23 yesterday and I have to beat it today.  I am going to run and lose weight.  My mind is set and now let’s watch it happen! Then I’m going to tan.  It’s going to be ME hour!

7:30 pm:  I DID IT!  I ran/walked 1  mile in 16:58 min.  I’m just going to get faster and better.  I’m on a mission!

8:00 pm:  This is going to be my last meal of day 3 of  my fruit flush.  1 scoop of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein Powder by Beverly International with 1 L-Carnitine, 3 Colostrum by Total Body Research Labs and water.  I made it to my gallon.  The rest of the week I’m going back to eating from my original nutrition plan.

I have had a great day today! I wanted to share something with all of you.  It’s ironic how it pertains to this log.  I had an old friend email me today on Facebook and tell me how much she has enjoyed ready my posts in the last few weeks.  She said that I am beautiful inside and out now matter what size I am and that I am an inspiration to her.  That has made this entire experience totally worth it!  I am going to think about what Jeni said each time I begin to struggle and I know she will be the one inspiring me when I need an extra boost.  So I want to thank you Jeni!  You have always been a wonderful person and although we lost touch I can see you are still the same amazing person you have always been.  Thanks for just being you!!   I hope all of you have a GREAT night and the sweetest of dreams!

Day 71, January 24, 2012

Hello Day #2 of my 3-Day Fruit Flush.  I’m going to have a great day today.  I’m looking forward to the scale moving down, down, down.  It seems as though each and every time I get stuck in a funk something new happens and it gives me just the motivation I need to get to the next level!  I love my life!

8:00 am:  Fresh pear with 1 L-Carnitine, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, and 3 TBR Labs Colostrum.  I started drinking my water today and I am so going to make it to a gallon.

10:00 am:  1/2 apple and ten grapes.  I’m still going strong on my water intake.  Yay Me!

12:00 pm:  Tangelo and guess what?  Water!  Lol!  I am almost to 1/2 gallon.

2:00 pm:  Orange with 1 L-Carnitine and water.  I’m past 1/2 gallon.  I am so going to make it to my gallon today.  I have to begin the chore of cleaning my house for my daughter’s 13th birthday.  I have lots to do and I am trying to figure out what wouldn’t be LAME for the day.  I am so struggling with that.  LOL!

4:00 pm:  Pineapple and water.  I’m getting ready to make dinner for the rest of the family.  It doesn’t even bother me now.  I know that I have put myself where I am at and I know it’s going to take some real dedication to make sure I continue to lose this weight and become more healthy.  I have pictures of my black bikini up all over my house.  It’s just what I need for those difficult times when I may falter.  You need to make sure that you have some kind of visuals up wherever you go to keep you honest.  You may not think it will help but I am proof positive that it does indeed help!

6:00 pm:  Time for dinner.  I went to Kroger so I am better prepared for dinner tonight.  I am having grilled chicken with lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, grape tomatoes, 1/2 avacado and topped with lemon juice from 1/2 a lemon.  I’m such a creature of habit.  Why mess with something if it’s working. Right? Ok now it’s time for me to excercise.  I’m going to run again today.  Let me be totally honest with you.  I am extremely embarrassed to run in front of anyone.  I am a 242 pound woman with a rather large chest and let me tell you it hurts if you aren’t wearing the right attire.  It is terrible running when you are a larger woman and yes you can close your eyes so you don’t see yourself, BUT there is absolutely NOTHING you can do about the sound of a larger woman running, especially on a treadmill.  It was pretty ugly!  Insert long sigh here!  I applauded myself in a whole nother way!  However I continued.  I plan on continuing to run.  It took me 18:23 minutes to run/walk a mile.  I know it’s awful.  I will be getting faster as I continue my running.  At least that is the plan.  I have overcome so much during my journey to a healthy life and so I will persevere with my running.  In the end I will applaud myself with my hands and not so much with my other areas.  It’s going to happen of that I am sure!

8:25 pm:  Time for my 1 scoop of Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly International my 1 L-Carnitine and my 3 Colostrum by Total Body Research Labs.  I’m drinking my final bottle of water to make it to my gallon today.  My eyes are floating but I did it!   I want to you all to know that I understand how hard it is to to lose weight, take care of your family, work and the other 30 things we have to do as we we each go through our day.  It will pay off in the long run.  Each day I get stronger and healthier and that will make my life so much more rewarding!  I am doing this for myself but I am also doing this for my entire family.  I know it’s going to be so very rewarding when I reach my goal.  With every pound I lose I not only lighten my body but also my mind.  I am in a better mood and I have loads more energy.  That is only a few reasons why I am doing this.  I am happier so my family as a whole is happier.  I have more energy to do more things with my kids and husband.  With every pound I lose I not only get closer to my goal, I also get closer to my family.  That makes this all worth it!  Have a great night and sweet dreams…

Vasotropin by Gaspari

Vasotropin by Gaspari

Monday, January 23rd, 2012 Biceps & Triceps

Today was one of the best days in awhile. Not only did my shipment from i-Supplements.com come in but it was actually sort of warm yesterday! Now back to the shipment. Im not going to disclose the extreme amount of EXTRAS that I was sent but I will say that instead of packing peanuts… I received samples lol. I will mention that I was given a full months supply of Vasotropin by Gaspari, If you have been under a rock for the past year, I will tell you that Vasotropin has been the most anticipated supplement the past year and for a good reason! Vasotropin is the replacement for the highly effective Plasma-Jet. With Plasma Jet you started to feel and see results on around the 10th day give or take as it builds in your system. And is effective in your system for about 8 hours. People liked it because you could take it before bed and still receive incredible pump when you workout in the morning! Imagine having that 10th day effective pump and having it on the first day… if you can imagine that, you can imagine having Vasotropin! Vasotropin is all that on day one. vasotropin increases pump. so for my first dose of 4 pills I made sure to keep my reps in the 12-15 range and if I wasnt feeling whipped by 12, I increased my weight the next set. that being said i made sure to also keep my ego in check if I need to drop to a lower weight to maintain proper form.

Day 71, January 23, 2012

This is Day 1 of my 4th week of 3 Day Fruit Detox.  It’s has helped a lot.  I’m down to 242 pounds.  I’m almost into the 230’s.  I cannot even tell you how excited I am about being this weight!  It’s been years since I’ve been this size!

8:00 am:  1 scoop of Choc. UMP protein shake with 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 3 Colostrum by TBR Labs, and 1 L-Carnitine.

10:00 am:  1 scoop of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein.  On my second bottle of water.  So far so good.

12:00 pm:  1 scoop of Chocolater UMP protein shake by Beverly International and bottle of water.

2:00 pm:  1 scoop of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein with water and my 1 L-Carnitine.

4:00 pm:  1 scoop of Chocolate UMP protein Shake by Beverlywith my fifth bottle of water.

6:00 pm: I’m taking 1 L-Carnitine,  3 cups of raw carrots, green peppers, celery with 4 oz of baked chicken, and 1/2 avocado and lettuce.  Total I have 4  1/2 cups of veggies and I put 1/2 lemon juice on it.  YUCK!   This is still not my favorite.

7:00 pm:  I’m going downstairs to excercise.  I’m drinking another bottle of water.  I’m almost ready to chill for the evening.

9:00 pm:  It’s time for me to go to bed.  It’s been a productive day for me.  I excercised for an hour but I didn’t run.  I kept getting shin pain.  I’m going to drink more water tomorrow and try to stretch more then try this running thing again.

I hope you are all doing alright with your healthy lifestyle change.  This has been so hard for me.  I keep looking at all of these thin fit women and I have to be honest with you, a part of me really hates them.  I wish I was born into a family that had a rocking metabolism.  Those were the girls in high school that I just wanted to smack!  And honestly I still do.  But the one thing that all of this has shown me is that nothing that is worth achieving  is easy!  Anything worth having is worth working for!  Remember this.  If you have an off day then begin again.  I have had a few of those of late and I am here to tell you that I will NOT give up on my dream of being healthy.  I want to look back when I am in my 70’s and 80’s and say to myself, “I won!  I went up againt the battle of the bulge and I came out on top!  I made the decision to live a long, and healthy life and I achieved my goal!”

Good night everyone.  Dream big…

Cool down for 4-5 minutes at a fast walk pace (usually I stay right around 4.0).  Sometimes I use this workout when I talk myself into running. I tell myself if I feel like just running 3 miles at a 10 min. pace that I can, but once I get moving, I can easily transition into this workout!
