Day 78, January 30, 2012

5:oo am:  1/2 grapefruit with splenda, 1  L-Carnitine, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, and water

6:15 am:  cup of coffee with splenda and dairy free creamer, 1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein with 1  L-Carnitine, and 3 colostrum by TBR Labs.  I’m on my 2nd bottle of water.

10:15 am:  1.5 scoops of chocolate UMP protein shake by Beverly with 1  L-Carnitine and  a bottle of water.

2:40 pm:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein with 1  L-carnitine and water..  It’s been a little stressful today.  I’m trying to get my house done.  I really wish Calgon would take me away!  LOL!   I’m at my half gallon mark for my water.  Yay!

6:45 pm:  Greg made me a baked potato with spray butter, grilled pork loin, and peas.  I drank more water and took my 1  L-Carnitine.    I’m pretty tired.    I think I’m going to take a nap.

9:30 pm:  1.5 scoops of chocolate UMP protein shake by Beverly International with 1  L-Carnitine, and 3 TBR labs colostrum with water is my last meal.  I fell a little short on my gallon of water but I did really well.  Today was a lot easier to stay on track for the most part.   I did a few things on the floor today to work on my hips and abs but I wanted to wait one more day until I started working out on my ankle again. I broke my ankle in 2004.  I used to starve myself and now I have to live with an ankle that bothers me on a daily basis and is weakened so I have quite a bit of trouble with it.  It wasn’t worth it at all but at that time I thought it was what I needed.  I have suffered from bulimia for more than 20 years and it is a daily battle.  It’s something I’m working on.  It can be done.  Some days I fail and have to begin again but the best thing I could do is to succeed!   Today was kind of a hard day for me.  I broke down and ate a mini twix.  I’m wondering if it is coming up on my time.  I’m going to focus on my Chocolate UMP tomorrow.  I’m here to tell you right now that it is very hard to keep doing the right thing and eat healthy.  Why is it this hard?!!!  Ugh!  But I will be strong.  On the up side it wasn’t a whole candy bar.  I’m picking myself up and dusting myself off and I will begin again.  I will beat this food addiction!  Now it’s time for me to bounce.  I hope you all have a great night and sweet dreams!

Lean & Hot Helped me get to my Goal Weight

Jan 30, 2012

Lean & Hot

Every once in a while a weight loss product comes along that you just have to try and Lean & Hot is that product.  Here is what an i-Supplements customer had to say about Lean & Hot recently.

I have been ordering Green Stinger with ephedra every month for almost year and I recently read Schwartz Labs had another diet pill available called Lean & Hot too.  So I decided to give Lean and Hot a try and I am glad that I did.  It is considerably different than Green Stinger due to having a lower amount of caffeine, which I like because too much caffeine makes me a bit jittery. Lean & Hot with ephedra also contains specific ingredients for my brain function and acai which is a powerful antioxidant.  Lean and Hot helped me reach my goal weight in no time and I felt like my overall health even benefited from it.  I am recommending Lean and Hot to all my friends and give it 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Thank you i-Supplements, Cassie in Romeo, Michigan

Day 76, January 29, 2012

Good morning everyone! I have quite a bit of things to get done today.  I need to start getting ready for Breanna’s party.  I have to take some stuff back to Kohl’s and Big Lots.  Time to get started…

7:00 am:  1/2 grapefruit with splenda, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 1 L-Carnitine and water.

7:30 am:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream UMP protein shake with 3 Colostrum by TBR Labs and 1 L-Carnitine with water.

11:45 am:  1.5 scoops of Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly International with 1 L-Carnitine and water.  I have to say how good the coffee tastes when it’s so cold outside.

4:30 pm:  It’s time for us to get to the stores before they close.  I’m taking my 1.5 scoops of Chocolate UMP protein shake and my 1 L-Carnitine with me.  More later.

7:00 pm:  Dinner time.  I’m having an omelette with mushrooms, green peppers, onions, tomatoes and fat free cheese.   I had my 1 L-Carnitine with two glasses of water.

9:35  pm:  It’s time for my last shake of the day.  We rented another movie tonight.  My ankle is swelled from being on it today so it’s time for some ice.  I didn’t get my excercise in.  I hate that I didn’t get to but I’m afraid I’ll do something worse to it.  I’d better get off here so I can watch the movie.  Stay tuned for tomorrow’s exciting day!  Good night everyone and sweet dreams….

Day 75, January 28, 2012

Good morning everyone!  Today is going to be my lazy day except for my excercising.  We are going to take today and just veg.  Greg and I never get to see each other so today is finally the day.

7:00 am:  1/2 grapefruit with splenda, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 1 L-Carnitine and water.

8:00 am:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein with 3 TBR Labs Colostrum and 1 L-Carnitine with water.

12:00 pm:  Greg cooked me his egg casserole with oatmeal and chicken.  It was really good.  It sounds disgusting but it’s very filling and really good.  I had my 1 L-Carnitine and water.

4:00 pm:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream UMP protein shake with  1 L-Carnitine.   I’m having my water.  I’m down on volume today but I’m going to try to drink more.

5:00 pm:  It’s time to excercise.  I twisted my ankle earlier walking down the flipping stairs to excercise so I’m opting to do my upper body weight training.  I’m trying to work on my abs.  I am pretty sure I no longer have any but I thought I would try to mimic what other people do and try some crunches.  I am here to tell you that they hurt like hades!

6:45 pm:  Dinner time.  Tonight I’m going for a change.  I’m having lean steak with 1 red potato and 1 bowl of fruit salad.    I had my 1 L-Carnitine with my glass of water.

8:45  pm:  We are settled down to watch a movie.  It’s the one about the Robot fighters.  It looks good  but I am going to drink my Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly with 1 L-Carnitine, 3 Colostrum by Total Body Research Labs, and water. I’m still down on water.  I’ve only drank a little over 1/2 gallon.  I have to make sure I drink lots tomorrow.  I hope everyone has a good night and sweet dreams..

Day 74, January 27, 2012

Good morning everyone!  Dad is coming over again today.  It’s done both of us a lot of good to get out of the house.  I need to excercise this morning since I missed it last night.  It is bugging me that I’m not keeping on schedule.

7:00 am:  1/2 grapefruit with splenda, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 1 L-Carnitine and water.

7:30 am:  1.5 scoops of Chocolate UMP protein shake with 3 Colostrum by TBR Labs and 1 L-Carnitine with water.

11:40 am:  1.5 scoops of Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein with 1 L-Carnitine and water.  I’m having coffee with Dad.  I’m so grateful for the time I’ve been given with him.  I know I’ve said this before but I don’t think I can say it enough.

4:00 pm:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream UMP protein shake with  1 L-Carnitine.   I’m still drinking my water. I have to get ready for my girls night tonight.  I am glad to say I ran a mile in 16:45 minutes.  I’m still not to my 15 minute goal but I will definately get there.   I feel a lot better after I excercised.  I have to go so I can meet Greg in Batesville so I can help my Bestie get ready for tonight!

6:45 pm:  Dinner time.  I’m having chicken with a side salad with light dressing.  I had my 1 L-Carnitine with my glass of water.

9:45  pm:  I’m still at my friends house for our girls night.   It’s been a lot of fun spending time with adults again.  LOL!   I’m finally drinking my Chocolate Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly with 1 L-Carnitine, 3 Total Body Resarch Labs Colostrum, and water.  It’s nice to talk about what I’ve been doing to lose weight.  I’m not where I need to be with my water but I will jump on that wagon tomorrow.

1:00 am:  I had a wonderful time tonight!  I haven’t laughed that hard in a very long time.  It’s just the kind of destresser I needed.  I’d better go to bed so I can begin my day early.  Good night everyone and sweet dreams….

Crealyze by Species Nutrition

Jan 28, 2012

creatineBig Dave Palumbo and Species Nutrition have developed a new state of the art muscle building creatine supplement.  Crealyze is a creatine monohydrate supplement, which is in a liquid soluble, stable, and bio available form.  In a recent interview, Big Dave was asked about liquid creatine products and their history for not being effective.  Here is what he had to say. “ Remember, any administered creatine should be SOLUBLE, STABLE, and BIOAVAILABLE! When creatine monohydrate is administered in powder form, it loses most of its effect because only 35% is bio-available and the rest is either (1) rapidly deactivated (turned into creatinine) by the highly acid conditions in the stomach or (2) passes through the GI tract without ever being absorbed due to its insolubility (inability to dissolve in solution). It’s so unique that it’s protected by certified U.S. Patent #5,973,005. When 1oz of CREALYZE is mixed with 8oz of water, the solution is rendered completely soluble providing a crystal clear solution that’s ready to drink. Each serving of CREALYZE contains 3 grams of 100% solubilized creatine monohydrate. That means more strength, greater endurance, and incredible pumps!”

Crealyze looks like it is going to have a bright future in the supplement world.  No more chalky powders or upset stomachs.  Finally a liquid creatine muscle builder that delivers.

Day 73, January 26, 2012

Good morning everyone!   Today is going to be a great day.  I get to spend time with my Dad again.  I’ve got a staff meeting this afternoon and I’m going to take my Dad to visit my Uncle Raymond and Aunt Lavern.  It’s been a while since we have seen them and I think this is just what my Dad needs.  My brother called my Mom last night and told her that Dad was feeling so bad that he thought he was dying.  I have to tell you it gave me a GIANT wakeup call.  If you all will remember my father is disabled due to his out of control diabetes, obesity, and Congestive Heart Failure.  I know that part of my weight gain was in part because of my stress level concerning my father’s health.  You all know what I’m talking about.  We, as women, try to be and do everything.  I am definately that person.  I am the one that fixes the boo boos in the family.  I stressed and had all kinds of negative behavior, ie: drinking, overeating, and laying around the house.  Until one day I woke up and guess what I saw in the mirror.  It wasn’t that strong person I was used to fixing all the problems.  It was an overweight, stressed out, 39 year old blob!  I knew I had hit rock bottom.  I’ve said in several of my logs that until you are ready to take control of your life and begin your journey to a healthy body and lifestyle there is nothing anyone can say to change your mind.  Let me tell you on the day that I finally opened my eyes to what I had become and what I wanted to be it was like I was reborn.  I’ve been given a second chance to change the things I had done wrong with my health.  It is one of the best decisions of my life.  I promise you once you do set your mind to the task of becoming healthy you too will feel like you’ve been given a second chance.  It’s never too late.  One phrase come to mind and that is “Carpe diem”, which means seize the day!  Make the leap!  It is so worth it!  Ok that is enough of all this serious stuff now it’s time to begin my day..

7:00 am:  1/2 grapefruit with splenda, 3 SlimQuick Extreme, 1 L-Carnitine and water.

7:45 am:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Potein with 3 TBR Labs Colostrum and 1 L-Carnitine with water.

11:00 am:  1.5 scoops of Chocolate UMP protein shake with 1 L-Carnitine and water.  I’m getting ready to leave with my Dad.  I’m so grateful for the time I get to spend with him.  Make sure you spend all the time you can with your loved ones because you never know when they will be taken from you.  I am looking forward to making as many happy memories as I can.

3:00 pm:  1.5 scoops of Cookies and Cream Ultimate Muscle Protein by Beverly with  1 L-Carnitine.   I’m past a 1/2 gallon of water now.   I have to get ready for my meeting.  I haven’t excercised yet but I will hopefully get it in later.  I feel a lot better after I excercise.  Remember when you excercise your mood improves.  Your body releases all this great stuff to make you feel good, endorphines, adrenaline, dopamine and seratonin.  It is a great way to help you to relax after a stressful day.

I had to stop and pick up a few things from Kroger and once I got back into the car my Dad laughed and said, “That guy that is walking into the store right now just checked out your butt.”  My first reaction was, “No he didn’t”.  But then I thought, “Why wouldn’t he?”  I dressed nice and had my hair done and my makeup on, I looked really good.  So then I thought to myself, “This is soo cool!”

6:45 pm:  Dinner time.  I’m having Baked chicken with garlic, steamed broccoli, and a fruit salad.  I had my 1 L-Carnitine with 2 glasses of water.

I want to say how excited I am to say that as soon as I opened the kitchen door at my Aunt Lavern’s house I was so happy when she said, “Wow, you have lost a lot of weight!”  Yay!  Yay!  Yay!  It is just what I needed to hear.  I am so happy!  Remember everyone positive feedback goes a long way to help motivate us.  In our world today, at least in my life, I am sad to say that I do not hear a lot of positive things said to me.  No one seems to understand how uplifting it is if you just smile at someone you see in the market and say hello.  I will tell you this, at first they look surprised but every time I can honestly say they smile back and say hello back to me.   You never know, maybe you just singlehandedly saved that persons life.  Isn’t that food for thought?

9:00 pm:  I am just getting home.  It’s been a lot of fun spending time with Dad again but I am behind.  I have to do dishes and get brownies on for a party I’m going to tomorrow.  It’s nice to smell them but remember we need to be strong and just say “NO!”  I have to get the kids ready for bed and make some dinner for my husband.  The poor guy doesn’t get home until after 10:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays because he went back to school to get his Master’s in Business.  It makes for pretty long days for him and a lot of extra things for me to pick up but it’s going to be worth it in the end.

9:45 pm:  I’m finally drinking my Chocolate UMP protein shake with 1 L-Carnitine, 3 Colostrum by Total Body Research Labs, and water.  I didn’t get my workout in.  I’m going to get up and run in the morning.  My new goal is 1 mile in 15 minutes.  I know if I set my mind to it I can accomplish anything.  I hope you all have a great night and sweet dreams…..
